       Joseph And Mary

James Begg

You've heard aboot iss modern times
Where Pop stars change their names
Now we've as chiel in Keiss did this
But it's no just quite the same
Now Sanders runs the Pub in Keiss
He serves the booze and keeps the peace
Some fowk would say the silly chiel
He's gone and changed his name as weel

Iss all happened the ither day
A new Barmaid came 'till stay
This filled Sanders wi' delight
But Sanders and Mary did not sound richt
Then one o' his clients came up wi' a scheme
And 'till poor Sanders it sounded a dream
You've heard it before he'd better be wary
Cause now their callan' them Jposeph and Mary

Joseph and Mary no dimnna laugh
At's no the end o' the story by half
Folks will be watchan on next Christmas Day
'Till see if a star settles ower Sinclair Bay
