 Residential Homes In Caithness
Bayview

Bayview House is a purpose-built Resource Centre for Older People, which opened in November 1995.

It houses Residential Accommodation for twenty-two people; Respite Care for two people; two Day Centres, one run by the Local Authority accommodating up to forty people, and the other run by Alzheimers Scotland catering for up to ten people with Dementia.

A Meals-on-Wheels Service is provided twice weekly from Bayview House, which also helps with the setting up and meals provision for and to five lunch clubs in the town and neighbouring villages.  Bayview House also acts as a Call Centre for the Community Alarm Help-Call System, used by Older and Disabled People in the Community at risk from falling.  Home Care Services are also run from Bayview House.

Gordon MacLeod is the Resources Manager and is assisted by a dedicated Senior Staff Group in running the various services being provided.  Elaine Baddeley, Claire MacIntosh and Rosemarie Cormack manage the Residential and Respite Care Services, staffed by a team of Social Care Workers; while Penny Cormack has responsibility for the Day Care Service and oversees the work of the Day Care Officers.  Ethel Davidson is the Home Care Organiser for West Caithness and has a dispersed team of Home Carers throughout that geographical area.
