Notes On Some Of the Model Boats

WK55 Ardent
The real boat was built in 1934 by Walter Reekie, Anstruther originally fishing out of Anstruther as the INS326.  She was sold on to the Malcolm family of Wick shortly after WW2.  She was operated by them for many years at the Seine Net fishng and at the end of her career was sold privately and has now been converted to a house boat.  the model depicts the boat as she would have appeared in the mid seventies was built by John Webster to a scale of  1 - 24.

BF364 Kevella
The vessel was built in 1988 by the Buckie Yard Herd & Mackenzie as the Eleanda BCK60.  It was the first wooden purpose built boat to have a full length enclosed shelter deck.  she was sold on to MacDuff owners and renamed Kevella, for short time before being sold on to Irish owners.  She is now called Atlantic Fisher T116.  The model was built by John Webster to a scale of 1 - 24

PD344 Constant Faith
Built in 1985 by Jones - Buckie as the Trident LK217 for Shetland owners, this vessel after a short time was sold to Peterhead skipper John Simpson.  She remained with him until her loss on 30 June 2001.  Model built by John Webster on a scale of 1 - 24
