Norlin Playgroup sessions are:
Early Education Group for 3 year olds - Monday \u2013 Friday 9.30am \u2013 12pm.  
Children are entitled to a local Authority funded place the term following their 3rd birthday.
Non funded fee \u00a33.00 per session.

Toddler Group - Monday & Wednesday 1pm-2.30pm
             Fee \u00a33.00 per session. 

Norlin Playgroup Staff team \u2013
Norlin Playgroup employs four permanent members of staff and it also has a Relief Playworker .  All staff is registered with Disclosure Scotland and Scottish Social Services Council.

Aims of Early Education Group:

1.We aim to provide and keep working towards a provision which encourages every child to be safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, active, respected, responsible and involved.

2.Provide a broad range of appropriate pre-school experiences for children through play activities in line with the Curriculum for Excellence.

3.Deliver pre-school education experiences in line with the national and local advice including the Curriculum for Excellence which include:

Health and Wellbeing
Literacy and English
Science
Numeracy and Mathematics
Expressive Arts
Social Studies
Technology
Religious and Moral Education 

4.Provide a high level of child care using the National Care Standards (0 to 16), and the Child at the Centre 2 as guidelines for implementing new procedures, policies and to further improve the standard of care provided via monitoring and self evaluation.

5.Respect and involve parents in the care and education of their child, providing opportunities for workshops and parental input in a variety of areas. 

6.Provide parents/carers with regular information about their child's progress and development

7.Arrange appropriate professional development and training for all staff employed by the group that meet the SSSC registration requirements.

The aim of our Toddler Group:
To build up a child\u2019s confidence in the early stages of leaving their main carer.  It is also aimed as a feeder group to our Early Education Group the following year.
