Successful Christmas Raffle for Playbox Play Group
Playbox Playgroup and Mother and Toddler group would like to thank everyone who
supported their Christmas Raffle. Thanks to the local shops who provided prizes
and also to everyone who bought tickets. The playgroup made just under £900 from
this raffle which is much appreciated as we are a charity run playgroup.
Anyone requiring information
about the playgroup can contact the playleaders on 606446. We also have parent
and toddler sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1.30-3.00 pm. The charge is
£1.00 per person which includes tea/coffee, juice and snacks. It is a chance for
a bit of company and the children to play in a safe environment with child
friendly toys.

Off To See The Ducks
 The
ducks at Broadhaven are always popular with younger children and no doubt the
ducks look forward to the extra food they bring along.

Playbox Playgroup, Wick Hekl A Wee Burns Supper Today
  
To-day Playbox playgroup, Wick held a burns supper for the 3 years
morning group to celebrate "Burns", Piper David Sutherland came and
played a few tunes on the pipes which all the children loved. Jane
Hamilton took along her fiddle and played a selection of reels and
highland dancer Bryony Munro danced the Pas de Basques. This was
followed by a traditional Burns snack of Haggis, neeps and tatties
washed down with Irn-Bru.
