Boys Brigade Wick Photo Archive

Wick Boys Brigade Captain Marc MacDonald is building a photo archive and would like to get help from anyone who can identify people in the photographs we will be posting in this new section.  In this first batch are a couple of really early photographs including the first one ever taken of the BB's in Wick in 1887

This is the very first photo taken of the 1st Wick Company.  Pictured at the wick riverside.

This picture was taken during a camp at Golspie in 1937. Pictured sitting on the left is the Captain and Founder of 1st Wick, John G Hood. The others i am not sure of.

This photo was taken inside the old BB Hall in Louisburgh Street which has since been demolished.

This picture was also taken in the old hall. Notice the old coconut hair mats for landing on. Ouch! The same vault box is still used by our boys today. We have since bought two soft and thick crash mats.

These Boys are smartly dressed for the group photo of the year
1900. Not too sure of where this pic was taken. Could be Kirkhill or somewhere at
the Riverside.
