Latheron Hall Is for the Parish of Latheron, which is huge basically, it’s
open to all to use. So please join in the events below or if you have an
event/class/group you would like to use the hall for, on a regular or
occasional basis, please see below for contact details.

Latheron Hall is holding a Car Boot Sale on Saturday May 4th at 1 p.m.,
stallholders come along at 12 noon, a stall will cost £ 5.00 and there
will teas, homebaking and a raffle all for hall proceeds. Stalls will be
inside and out (weather permitting). We have new tables for the
hall. You may sell anything that is legal and not living. To book a

The hall was completed just before Christmas and is now in use by local
groups. Here is a picture taken today of the completed building.

29 November 2001
People of Latheron and surrounds are invited to a Ceilidh on 29th
December to celebrate the opening of the new hall which is almost
completed. Bobby Coghill and Trio will play at the
celebration. the hall id due to be handed over by the contractors
O'Brien Construction on 22 December.
The £272,000 project comprised of funding from The National Lottery,
Scottish Executive, Highland Council and the Enterprise Network.
Local fundraising amounted to £40,000 and a further local effort raised
funds to help with furnishing the building. Local publisher Keith
whittles has been singled out for praise by the chairman Jim McGregor as
playing the main role in grant applications. But it had been a
real community effort and the hall will be used by many local
organisations.
