John Allen trained as an organ builder and has built an organ using the
parts from five others for the church. A visit by Bishop Conti who
was himself a priest in Caithness has taken place. Bishop Conti
blessed a grotto dedicated to the memory of the late Father John
Maguire, parish priest in Caithness from 1997 to 1999. the grotto
to Our Lady of the Sea was built by Alan and Olwen Warwick.
