A unique barand of operatic cabaret.  Combinung 17th century Spanish canciones classicas, Italian arie cantiche, well-known and loved operatic arias, zarzuela and traditional music from Spain and Puerto Rica with jazz and torch songs.

Cantabile - Welsh Opera Singers
These young singers, in addition to singing with the major Opera companies in the UK are in great demand as concert performers.  They will sing arias from well-known classical and light operas.

Flute/Piano & Mandolin
These versatile soloists will demonstrate their virtuosity to the full performing works by Pleyel, Guerra, Riggieri and much more.  They have performed throughout Britain and the Far East.

Tchaikovsky State String Quartet (Moscow)

Founded at the Moscow Conservatory and having performed in many countries throughout the world they will perform quartets by Haydn, Mozart and Schostakovitch

Dick Lee Quartet Swing 2003

Formed over 20 years ago this group is regarded as something of an institution in the Scottish Jazz scene.  Their repertoire includes music of Rheinhardt, Goodman and Ellington.

Piano

Born in Kiev and trained in Moscow, Evgeny Soifertis is from the Russian school of romantic pianists.  He will perform works by Chopin, Liszt, Glinka and Rachmaninoff.

Praised for its sensitive interplay, technical virtuoisity and stylistic purity the Academia Wind Quintet has wona number of international prizes. their programme will in clude music by Mozart, Ibert and Reicha.

Piano Trio

Highly acclaimed and winners of a number of prestigious awards this trio was a Tunnell Trust prize winner in 2002.  The concert will include performances of music by Schubert, Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky

The Schubert Ensemble

Having an international reputation as Britain's leading exponent of chamber music for piano and strings the programme will include music by Brahms and Martin Butler

All concerts in Thurso High School except The Christmas Party which will be in Skinandi’s Night Club

Membership support through subscription Tickets gives us a guaranteed income.  We have been able to maintain the subscription rate at £38.  This gives a saving of £21 on buying individual tickets at the door which will be £7 for each performance.  A single children's subscription ticket for £12 gives admittance to all concerts for all children in one family.  Children and students at the door are £1.
