South Road, Wick Blocked By
Heavy Lorries 8 April 03 The South Road in Wick was blocked for a while in the afternoon
(Tuesday 8 April 2003) as
two lorries carrying heavy loads bound for the pipeline yard at Wester
were stuck by parked cars. The loads were too heavy to negotiate
between the cars parked on either side of the road. The owner of one
of the cars was eventually located to shift the vehicle and allow the
heavy loads to continue their journey through Wick and on out to Wester
for the latest pipeline being assembled at the Haliburton yard
