Caithness
is a beautiful place to visit and many people come and explore the area,
check out the historic castle sites, see the great coastal views or
find isolated beaches. Caithness is a bird watching paradise
with birds of many species on the cliffs and inland on the bog or farming
countryside. However it can be difficult in a short trip to
find out exactly what is around or get to places and relax.
This is where the recently created business - The Caithness Tour - can
help. By creating a series of tours to choose from visitors
can get to places with people who know the area taking a day or half day
to see some of the significant places in the north.
Dane
Miller and Karen Spruce have set up The Caithness Tour Ltd to take
visitors to our county on tours of Caithness and North Sutherland, showing
you some of the more beautiful, historic & interesting places. Many of
these places are out of sight of the roads and will require some walking
and an adventurous spirit; in some places the access is unimproved.
Binoculars and hot drinks are provided for all tours and for the full day
tours a picnic lunch will be supplied.
