Photo Shows Erinn's son Ross. The Highlanders, 4th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, can trace their roots back to five Regiments raised in the late 18th century, including The Duke of Albany’s Own, The Ross-shire Buffs, and of course The 92nd Gordon Highlanders. Most recently operations have included tours of Kosovo, Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Iraq and exercises in Kenya, Belize, Canada and Norway.The Royal Regiment of Scotland was created on 28 March 2006, with The Highlanders now forming the 4th Battalion in a structure designed to most effectively respond to the needs of the country and soldier alike
