The Pentland Yacht Club Mid Summer Regatta had a fine day of racing on Sunday 23 June 2002.  After a poor day on Saturday when conditions were less than ideal as the wind dropped to zero for most of the time and it rained in the afternoon - Sunday turned out to be ideal with a force 3  - 4 wind and sunshine all morning.   The wind gusted at times and knocked one or two yachts over but nothing that these yachtsmen could not handle.  Caithness.org took lots of pictures but the scores were not availble when we left after the first race in the morning.  The second race of the day was to be held after lunch
