New Information Point At Dunnet
The former Dunnet Tearoom has opened as a Tourist Information Point on Friday 6 June 2003.  A cheese and wine party was held for friends and neighbours who were on hand to see councillor Bill Fernie cut the tape over the door to declare the centre officially open for business.

Information points are being developed in partnership with the Tourist Board as a means of distributing information on areas especially in more rural parts where there might not be a suitable place for a full size office or where it would not be economic to do so.  This now means that in Dunnet there is a place where lots of local information is readily available.

The Dunnet Information Point is a project of the Dunnet Head Educational Trust
