CAREERS SCOTLAND WELCOMES YOU TO THE 2004
CAITHNESS CAREER CONVENTION

ASSEMBLY ROOMS, WICK    WEDNESDAY 10TH MARCH 2004    6.00pm – 8.30pm

It can be hard to find time to prepare for the future when there’s so much going on in the present.  It can be hard ploughing through all the information that’s around on all the various options. It can be hard making career choices in the rapidly changing world in which we now live.
But help is at hand...........................................

Careers Scotland invites you to come along to the Caithness Careers Convention.

Not only will Careers Scotland staff be on hand to provide expert careers advice, but also representatives from more than 50 organisations will be ready to give you up-to-date information on opportunities in learning training and employment.

The convention is the ideal opportunity to meet first hand with people from a range of career areas, universities, colleges, employers and training providers – all there under the one roof, ready to help you as an individual.

Whether you’re a school pupil planning for the future or a parent/carer wanting to help, whether you looking for work, returning to work, or in work but seeking new horizons… The Careers Convention has plenty to offer.

All fourth, fifth and sixth year pupils in the area will receive a copy of the Career Convention Workbook to help them prepare and make the most of the Careers Convention.

Programmes will also be available for those who want to turn up on the day. This gives a floor plan and reference guide to make it quick and easy to locate the people to whom you want to talk.
