Behavioural Patterns of Drug Users In Highland

Seventy-six (100%) respondents supplied a saliva sample which was subsequently tested

for HIV and Hepatitis C antibodies. All tested HIV negative (one being retested at the moment), yielding a 0% HIV prevalence rate among Highland Region drug injectors. The results of hepatitis C samples are still to be returned from the Regional Virology Laboratory.
