House Break-in At Sparras Near Skitten War Memorial - Reward Offered
Friday Night 5 September

Were you passing Skitten War Memorial On Friday Night?
Did you notice a vehicle parked at the memorial between 7.30 and 10.30pm.

Callous robbers have taken jewellery and mementoes from the house.  Many of the items were of sentimental value such as guide badges.  There was expensive jewellery in amongst the items stolen and a reward is being offered by Fiona Miller (nee Mackay) leading to the return of the stolen items.

It is suspected that the people involved may have watched the house from the Skitten memorial which is opposite until Mrs Miller and her husband left the house.  If you were passing did you see a vehicle at the Skitten Memorial on Friday night.  Can you give details to the police in Wick.   A lawnmower and an assortment of jewellery of high sentimental value was stolen during the break-in.

Mrs Miller wants to warn others in the county that this crime has happened in order to put everyone on the alert.  Information should be passed to the police but the reward will go to anyone who assists in the recovery of the stolen items.  It is thought that the robbery happened between 7.30pm and 10.30pm so think back and get in touch with Wick police if you were passing Skitten at that time and noticed anything unusual.

The house is opposite the Skitten Memorial
Did you see anything or anyone unusual at the house or at the memorial?

Mrs Miller and her husband have a Blue Golf that was at the house throughout the robbery as they got a lift when they went out.
