16 November 03 New Ferry Service between Skye and Gairloch From May 2004 a new passenger ferry service will be introduced, sailing between Gairloch, Wester Ross and Portree, Isle of Skye. Two return crossings (1 hour 30 mins each way) will be made daily, accommodating up to 36 passengers. Bicycles will be accommodated on board.
