Ailsa Cowie says, "This picture shows my Great Grandad Adamson's boat "Golden Dawn" being launched at Wick harbour.  This picture will show people how launching of a new boat is an important event in fishing towns. You can see the bunting on the boat.  A big crowd watches.  The boat is pulled in by a steam threshing machine from the other side of the harbour
