In Scotland these titles are meaningless and few would have anything to do with them.  There is some mention of possibly helping the environment.  Here at Caithness,org we think anyone wishing to save the environment should consider sending the money to the John Muir Trust or similar environmental organisation and not to a private company.  Web sites selling these tiny pieces of land are -
