Through the local mini-sites, BBC Scotland web users will be
able to flag up their own views on local facilities and find out what
other people in the area think. This Insider's Guide - covering anything
registered by users from their favourite pubs to their favourite bacon
roll or the worst public toilet - will be archived as a resource for
visitors.
Fortnightly there will also be a column by a local correspondent on a
burning issue relevant to the locale, with the opportunity for users to
register their opinions. And under the Outside Now section, exciting new
activities on offer in the area will be profiled - from white water
rafting to hot air ballooning - with details on how to get involved.
The local sites will also point to BBCi's What's On listings, with links
to other related BBC services and E-postcards of the area, which can be
submitted by users for sending on to friends and family.
