The weather improved by 10.30pm and the rain stayed away.  it was still bitterly cold and a breeze kept up for the whole of the night.  this did not stop people enjoying themselves around the pubs and clubs in the town.  Just a few pictures from the proceedings.  Lighting at night in the town centre is not the greatest for the old digital camera.
